Is ANYONE from The Wizard of Oz still alive?
Re: June, 2018 Obituaries
Not sure....Jerry Maren was credited as one of the adult munchkins. I believe there may have been some child munchkins. The movie came out in 1939, 79 years ago, so it's only natural that a lot of the cast members have gone to the big Emerald City in the sky.C&O6084 wrote:Is ANYONE from The Wizard of Oz still alive?
edit:Here's a 2 year-old website that lists the surviving cast members as of May, 2016.
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls061321507/
Child munchkins (uncredited), seen in the background of the movie, that as of today are still alive, are Ambrose Schindler, Valerie Lee, Betty Ann Bruno, Ardith Dondanville, Joan Kenmore, and Priscilla Montgomery.

I'd seen several posts about it on Facebook like it was current. Sometimes it takes awhile for deaths to become public.cr6903 wrote:Jochs wrote:R.I.P. Malcom Young, (64,) AC/DC Guitarist and Co-founder.
