Amazing the kid wasn't hurt from the 10ft fall. The "Shatner 2000" wig appears to be brand new in the video. Engine appears to be OMLX 1751, although that is an SD9 and unit looks more like a GP

I'm kind of impressed by the recreations they did on Rescue 911. I mean for a 1990 TV show.

Anyone ever see this one from Northville?

What was the original story behind this incident?
At 3:19, you can see a Central Michigan GP38-2.

I remember watching the episode. I believe the story was that the boxcars rolled out of a siding or an industry somewhere around Novi.

The article mentions the boxcars were loaded with auto parts, I'm guessing they would have been for the Ford plant in Wixom?

It was filmed on the GR west of Ada IIRC
