Retro jets, as they're called, have been quite popular among the airlines in the past decade. US Airways/American is the only one with a true heritage fleet of all its predecessors. Outside the US, there have not been too many mergers/acquisitions between carriers to justify a heritage fleet. Domestically, United, Southwest, and American all of retro schemes. They've been quite popular in Europe as well. SAS, Iberia, KLM, LOT, Air Malta, Condor, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and probably some others all have retro jets.
