Has anybody been to the illinois railway museum? If so what did you think? Any favorite engines or cars you liked?

Been there a few times. They have a lot of neat stuff. You almost can't see it all in a day!

One of the best railroad museums in the country. While not as "pretty" as some of the others, their collection blows just about everyone else's away.

Or you could watch the Transformers movie that used IRM for a backdrop...
What smells like lube oil and diesel.... Oh wait it's just my "Locomotive Breath"

I visited IRM on the 31st last month and it was very cool however 4 hours was not enough but next time I will plan on the whole day. They had a lot of stock that I thought needed some TLC but still very cool to see.

You got that right Typhoon what you said times three or more lol ive been there to. i never can want to leave just so much going on.
