If you could have an excursion...

Unread post by MQT1223 »

Where would you take it? What line would it be on? Doesn't have to be in service it could be any line.

I would think an excursion from Owosso down the CN Holly Sub to Pontiac would be cool using (yes I will even include my power) GTW 4-8-4 6325.

Plymouth to Petoskey, the long way, on a speeder.
Then another from one side of the UP to the other.

From Jackson to Toledo on the Palmyra and Jacksonburgh Branch then around the Toledo Terminal to The Pensy Corothers Seconday to Tiffin Ohio so I could visit my folks via train directly. Equipment would be a Lehigh Valley ALCO C628 Snowbird scheme. In Tiffin head East on the B&O and follow the rout of the old Amtrak Three Rivers train from the 90's finally ending up in Altoona.

Toledo-Ann Arbor via AA, with AA power on point - any would do!
