Chicago Auto Show?

Unread post by justin_gram »

Is anyone other than me planning on going to the 2015 CHI Auto show at the McCormick Place? I go every year, And I'm planning on going this year, also. I usually take the NICTD South Shore line to McCormick place station and then afterwords take a Metra from McCormick Place to Millennium Station and walk downtown for a few hours. After walking we get back on South Shore at Millennium and take it home.

And no, I don't like cars more than trains :)

I didn't know the South Shore was extended into Michigan.

And call me if the "L" is ever extended via a long trestle bridge to Benton Harbor.

Funny thing, I was going through some old photos and came across that pic just moments before I read your post. Just had to post it!

Justin, the thing that amazes me the most about the current line up of Lexus vehicles is that NO ONE on the design team said, "Guys, our cars look like SH*T with that front end."

That's because you're not on the design team!

They should probably fire the people who are for designing such ugly "faces" on their cars. :P

For all the times I've seen JT go after design and - eh - cleanliness (SPOC), I've never once seen him with his degree in design or his attempts to hire into such a firm.

JT is clearly a clean-leader, matched power, right light, brush-cleared sorta person!

It's the predator face. Love it or hate it, that's the idea. Polarizing.

Don't ever let me catch you saying that the design of something looks good. Opinions, whether negative or positive, aren't allowed on anything unless you've been formally trained on the subject. I'll be watching you.

When has being fully trained ever stopped any of us from expressing an opinion?

Your question has nothing to do with my facetious comment to Alex.
