CSX 2637 isn't the only one without a CSX on the nose.

Found a picture of CSX 4714 without a CSX on the nose also. Wonder why

Re: Nameless Nose
yeah, that pic of the CSX 2637 was contributed from muskegonrr.com...not sure off hand if it's his or one of his contributors..i can look it up if you'd like when i'm home. I've seen a train once down at sappi a few weeks ago...i'm rarely in muskegon during any train running times, but was nice to see it there.. was there with my fiance and well, didn't have time to wait for it to pull.

There are quite a few CSX units without the logo on the front nose. A lot of the units that were in pre-YN2 paint that had the yellow nose applied never got a logo. SD40 4606 and GP15T 1503 are also this way. Take your time and browse around the CSX Photo Archives site at pre-YN2 schemes, I'm sure you'll find more. GP40-2 6041 could also go under this category, as the logo is almost completely faded away.
And the SD70AC's that were delivered in YN3 paint have nothing but stick-on letters on the noses.
Oh, BTW, that's my picture of 2637 at Sappi
