I have seen three.

1) NS 8098 (Conrail) on train leading 264 in Romulus, Michigan
2) NS 8114 (Norfolk Southern) as the second unit on a coke train in Wyandotte, Michigan
3) NS 8104 (Lehigh Valley) second unit on a coke train in Fostoria, Ohio

NS 8098 on 264
NS 8114 leading NS 864 and trailing on a 415 so caught it twice.
Shot the PRR on the point of a coal tied down in Toledo.

Seen NS 8098 (Conrail) and NS 8102 (PRR).

Saw 8098 on 264 in Allen Park, MI and NS 8102 in Toledo, OH with a Detroit Edison coal train (I'm guessing it may have been an 863?).

I haven't seen any NS heritage units in person. I saw UP 1982 (Mopac unit) in Nappanee in July '10, and 4 Amtrak heritage units in the past year.
