Not Shipshawanna, but it is in the northern 1/3 of Indiana. Maybe that'll reduce it to 100/3 to 200/3 (33 to 66) of the railroad streets to check. School to the right, and left side of Railroad St is where the ROW once was.
More hints please!

More hints huh.... well, it's in a town that used to have a north/south railroad, which is now gone, and an east/west railroad that crossed in town. The east/west railroad got rerouted to slightly bypass the town, so this pic is on that portion that got bypassed. The east/west line is quite busy still and goes to Chicago.

Avilla, IN On the former B&O Railroad and former GR&I RR. The school on the right is the Avilla Elementary School part of the East Noble School Corp district and the old ROW on the left was the original B&O RR ROW. All in Allen Township, Noble County. Final passenger train through Avilla, between Chicago and Pittsburgh, was Amtrak Three Rivers trains 40/41 and was made on March 8, 2005.

Was that East/West line the B&O Railroad or the Toledo & Chicago Interurban Railway?

Righto. Per that article, says the Toledo & Chicago interurban never reached anywhere close to either of those two city names. Instead ran north-south basically and paralleled the GR&I through Avilla.

Can't be that one.

Owens Ames Kimball construction apparently uses/used some on their construction sites.
But can't locate any pictures. Google doesn't appear to show any in their yard next to US-131.
