Finally located the exact spot in that shot above. The north end of that bit of track is just south of US-223 between Crockett Hwy and S. Grosvenor Hwy., in Palmyra Township, Lenawee County. Midway between Adrian and Blissfield.

AARR, finally located the small fertilizer dealer (supplier). It was located on the south side of US-223 just west of the bit of abandoned track at where the J&S Auto Sales lot is now, between Crockett Hwy' and South Grosvenor Hwy., in Palmyra Township, Lenawee County.

Yes, indeed, it's Pinconning, Bay County, looking north from the intersection of W. 2nd Street and S. Van Etten Street at one time was the start of the Gladwin branch of the former Michigan Central RR that ran to Gladwin. That branch was used by just a local freight train that ran on Saturdays only until its abandoned in 1962. The Gladwin local freight crew was based out of Bay City Wenona Yard. That intersection is two blocks east of M-13 in the famous cheese town.

Yes, indeed, its the Lewis Avenue crossing of the AA RR in Bedford Township. Monroe County. Just north of Temperance. Looking north towards the next two crossings which is W. Erie Road and Samaria Road. Final run of the remaining Ann Arbor Railroad passenger trains between Toledo, OH and Boat Landing/Elberta/Frankfort, was made on July 19, 1950. My late mom's late cousin lived in the white house on the north side of Samaria Road, just right next to the AA tracks in Samaria, Bedford Township. He retired from the GM plant in Toledo, OH. That house is now long gone. He passed away in January, 1991. Also, Lewis Avenue was part of old US-23 between Toledo and M-50 just east of Dundee.
