Verionica Street, Livonia Michigan. It's an industrial spur off the CSX that serves BASF and Valassis paper. Just north of the Ford Transmission plant.

Yes, it's Veronica Street, Livonia, Wayne County, MI looking south, just east of Levan Road. It's an industrial spur off the CSX main line that serves BASF, Valassis Anderson Paper (junk mail) Printing and the Iron Mountain plants. My sister used to worked at Valassis until she was lay off in October, 2010. The old CSX Transportation Michigan Division office was to the west of the above shot.

There's also a relatively new lumber yard off this spur

A little over 23 miles as the crow flies.
If the crow has to drive, it's a little over 30 miles.

Don't see many crows driving anymore. Very erratic and not particularly good drivers...

Crows drive erratically because they are texting the whole time

Sterling Heights, Macomb County. The spur to the Detroit Newspaper Agency printing plant on Metro Parkway. Looking south with the newspaper printing plant on the right. The Conrail SA is to the left (not visible). That's Metro Court in the foreground. The plant print the Detroit News.

Nice work, 1949. Also, the plant prints other newspapers such as the Toledo Blade.

I haven't been by there in a while. Are they still getting newsprint in by rail?

Take it easy on the crows :D
For the first time since the West Nile Virus outbreak of 2002, we now have a pair of crows in the neighborhood.
It's scary to think the next pandemic is just an airliner ride away
We now return to your normally scheduled thread :P

Near the Poletown Plant, Hamtramck, or the Chrysler Plant. Mack Avenue or the former Cadillac Plant.
