Too quick SD80mac, but correct. Shot one of the steam locos on that bridge back in 2009.
Where be it? There is a wye less than a mile away.

Yes, westbound on Ely Street @the GLC RR crossing in Alma, Gratiot County. Looking north west north along the former AA RR trackage with the bridge over the Pine River in the background. Final run of the remaining former AA RR passenger train between Toledo and Frankfort/Boat Landing/Elberta, was made on July 19, 1950.

Kilgore Road, just northwest of Avoca on the former C&O line from Port Huron to Saginaw.

Yes, it's Kilgore Road, at the former C&O Railway line, just northwest of Avoca and just north of M-136 in Kenockee Township, St. Clair County. The wye, less than a mile northwest of the crossing above, was part of the spur to the DTE Energy Greenwood Plant. Passenger train service between Saginaw and Port Huron, through Avoca and Yale, was discontinued many years ago.

Yes, it's the former LSMS Railroad trackage (later old NYC RR) over the Grand River in Dimondale, Eaton County. Final run of the remaining old LS&MS passenger train which was actaully the mixed train between North Lansing and Hillsdale, was made in 1934, and the trackage itself was abandoned between just southwest of Lansing and Albion in 1940. The old LS&MS bridge is just southeast of Bridge Street bridge over the river in downtown Dimondale.

You're actually very close, yet far away Carter Lumber is correct, but the photo taken is not in Kent County. Thanks for mentioning Carter on Alpine though...was just looking at the map, and didn't realize they have a spur there, and it's also disconnected from MQT.

Carter Lumber, on the north side of US-223 (in the foreground), just east of the bridge over the NS (former Wabash Ry) RR main line, Adrian (actually in Madison Charter Township), Lenawee County.

There ya go. Standard was very close but good finding Rodney. I spotted that spur as I was enroute to Toledo yesterday and wanted to post it.

I recognized the building as Carter immediately. As I look at the photo again, I see a guardrail that doesn’t exist on Alpine.

BTW, I believe that the old Carter lumber north of Cadillac had a spur off of the PRR.

Its have a spur and yard tracks off the CN Holly Sub. I lives in Waterford for almost 65 years now. That Draco rail car repair place have been there for 40 years Prior to that It was the Dundee Cement Co. Draco was purchased by the TTX in 1988 and is currently the railroad contractor.
