Looking north while standing on the platform overbridge at the Sturtevant, Wisconsin Amtrak Station.

The 2 CP units on a local on a double track mainline drew me to the CP Chicago-Milwaukee mainline.
That fence in the middle indicates it's at a station platform, common in the Chicago area.
Now just find the station with a platform overbridge.

One can only guess Wisconsin? If so, please state it's not in Michigan when posting.
Well, it's obviously not in Michigan....there's a train!

More rest of the story. The Sturtevant, WI Amtrak Station is located at the east end of E. Exploration Court, east of Racine County H, south of WI Highway 20 in Sturtevant, Racine County, WI. All Amtrak Hiawatha Service trains between Chicago and Milwaukee on the CP Eail (former Milwaukee Road) stop at the Sturtevant Amtrak Station. Amtrak Empire Builder does not stop at that station.

DCON Dequindre north of Forest. Car is parked by part of the Boomer Construction Materials warehouses. It appears the siding is still in to their building across Forest.
But the doors on that building seem way to short to clear a boxcar or centerbeam car.

I hope they moved that covered hopper before MD's buddies got back from scrapping that bridge over at West Detroit-Federal Junction :P

Agreed with DaveO. DCON Dequindre Avenue north of Forest Ave. looking south. Final run on the former GTW RR Holly Sub, between Detroit Brush Street Station and Durand (trains 168/169) and between Detroit Brush Street and Chicago (the Mohawk, trains 164/165) were all made on April 30, 1971.

This ought to be relatively easy. Not Michigan but a number of you have been close by.

Illinois, on the D&I line. I'm going to guess Steward, as it doesn't quite look like Big Rock...

Yes, indeed, that's Steward, IL on the BNSF's D&I line midway between Chicago and Savannah, IL. Rochelle, IL is only eight miles northwest of the above shot. The road crossing in the distance is Illinois Hwy. 2. in Steward, IL, Lee County, IL. It's just west of US-51 and I-39. The final run of the remaining passenger trains except the Empire Builder, between Chicago and the Twin Cities, MN via Rochelle, was made on May 2, 1971. The Empire Builder (now Amtrak) was rerouted via the former Milwaukee Road between Chicago and the Twin Cities, MN via Milwaukee and Wisconsin Dells, WI. That photo above is looking west.

It’s not Battle Creek though it does look a lot like it. You’re on the right side of the state.

Tanks are not for Lawton. They are for food additives.
The photo is 10 years old. You won’t see NS power working this train anymore.
