I was thinking somewhere in the Sturgis or Coldwater area.

It's the Long Island Rail Road. Okay, maybe not, but the abbreviation remains the same.

Yup, indeed! It's the LIRR (Lapeer Industrial RR), looking north from the the Demille Road crossing toward the connection with the CN Flint Sub/Amtrak Line, all in Lapeer, Lapeer County. Final run of the remaining passenger trains on the old New York Central RR line between Detroit and Bay City, trains 394/395, the Beeliner RDC, was made 54 years ago this past the 19th of this month. The building at the right with multiples piles of skids (pallets) at the back of that structure is the D.R. Logistics, Inc.

Wow Dave, you are quite correct and very fast. I tried very hard to nail down the exact location, but no to avail. Seeing N.Korean railroads in the recent news I thought I'd give this a try. Before I didn't know there was any rail service in N. Korea.

The car has an Indiana plate. I think Lafayette lost it's street running but Warsaw has some. It looks similar to Hickory St in Warsaw.

Sorry about the not-Michigan thing. Yes indeed, Hickory Street and Center Street in Warsaw, Indiana.

Yes, indeed, it's East Center and South Hickory streets along the NS main line, looking north in Warsaw, IN, Kosciusko County, IN. The NS main line run north and south between Goshen, IN (southeast of Elkhart, IN) and Anderson, IN. Passenger train service on that NS line was discontinued many, many years ago. The NS main line run along the middle of South Hickory Street (street running).

Well this location looks alot like a highway, but it did start it's life as a railroad crossing. See if you can name the spot and the original railroad.

I know where this is at.
But I will wait for someone to guess the location.
Then I will add what I found out.
