Rodney, there is nothing that looks like that here in the TC area. The only graffiti we see with naughty words is on the side of rail cars.railrod1949 wrote:

Ding, correcto.GreatLakesRailfan wrote:Is it the Grand Rapids BMX facility off of Kirtland St SW?
Yes, it's the Grand Rapids BMX Facility south off Kirtland Street, SW in the Burton Heights section of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Public Schools district, Kent County. It's east of US-131. The rail line on the right of the above shot, was the former Michigan Central RR, the former New York Central RR, former Penn Central RR line that ran between Grand Rapids and Jackson. it's now the spur line off the connection with the GDLK RR. The building on the far left is the Pioneer Construction Co. on Kirtland Street, SW. it's have a Grand Rapids, MI 49507 address.GreatLakesRailfan wrote:Is it the Grand Rapids BMX facility off of Kirtland St SW?

Somewhere in the Traverse City area or in Grand Traverse County.Pixl wrote:
Its the siding just off the GLC RR Williamsburg branch north of the TC Cherry Capital Airport. Or is the siding off the GLC RR line that run along N. Keystone Road, just north of Dipley Road.Pixl wrote:Rodney, yes it is in the Grand Traverse area.
Not Walton Jct. Those tracks are very active in all directions unlike these.
Pixl wrote:Yes it is a siding just North of TC industrial area. There is a power transformer to the right of my photo position. The power station has all new equipment. I suspect the siding was used to bring in those hugh transformers even though the the rails are almost covered by soil and growth. The rust on the rails is mild, something has rolled over them in the past year.
