Somewhere on the CSX. or the H&E. I know it is not in the Upper Peninisula. Must be somewhere close to east of US-131 and north of I-96. If not, more hints please.

Well I don't know about the RR location, but it looks like someone pulled off the front clip of the car, maybe the engine too. Seems strange the grass isn't burnt and the front tire is intact. Must have been torched some where else then dumped there. What would be across the street? A scrap yard??

Correct. Along John Kronk at the west end of Livernois. Ferrous Scrap is across the street.

Round 2 can be how did the car get burned and how did it end up there.

Yes, indeed, the west end of Conrail SA Livernois Yard, in Detroit, Detroit City School District, Wayne County. Amtrak trains 351, 353, 355 westbound and trains 350, 352 and 354 eastbound currently operating between Pontiac and Chicago along John Kronk Avenue.
