Yes, that's North Lincoln Road which is also US-2, US-41 and M-35, Escanaba, MI, Delta County, MI This looking west along the former Chicago & North Western RR to the former P&H crane factory. That factory is now an industrial park which includes the Escanaba & Lake Superior car maintenance plant. The building at the left in the above shot is the Drifter's Family Restaurant. The building on the right in the above shot is now a U Haul moving rental trailer and truck dealer, formerly a K Mart (Big K) store which closed in October, 2017. The final run of the remaining C&NW RR passenger trains which was the Peninsula 400 that ran between Chicago and Ishpeming, MI with stop at Escanaba, was made 60 years ago this coming July 15.

Agreed, it's Yale, St. Clair County. looking NW along the Huron and Eastern RR, formerly the C&O railway, later Chessie, later CSXT. The road in the foreground is M-19 (N. Main Street) and the street, just west of M-19, is 1st Street. Passenger train service on that line between Saginaw and Port Huron, was discontinued many years ago.

That was fairly easy. I have stopped at the Holiday station across the street dozens of times.

No such Holiday stationstore anywhere in Yale. There is a Sunoco gas station on the south side of town and a Marathon gas station about a mile north of that Sunoco Gas Station both in Yale.

Righto guys, Grand Rapids Press it is. After riding back from Fuller Junction on the north side of GR, headed back south into downtown and noticed this spot on the edge of an MSU facility.

Yes, indeed, its the old Grand Rapids Press loading dock spur line north to a connection with the old GTW Grand Rapids sub, now Grand Rapids Eastern in Grand Rapids, Kent County.

It represents what was the end of the line for many people.
It is also about 250 feet west of a long abandoned interurban route.

Is this on a college campus? The building in the background looks like a library.

They have a library there. They also have a 2 axle boxcar inside. But it's not a college.
The exterior of the building hints at what it represents.
I've been there several times but never went inside. I've traveled by there on the route of that along abandoned interurban countless times.
