Between Bogue Street and Hagadorn Road looking east on CN Flint Sub/Amtrak Line is my guess. That "unnamed road" is actually the pedestrian crossing between between Farm Lane and Harrison Road and another pedestrian crossing is between Bogue Street and Hagadorn Road on the CN Flint Sub, East Lansing. More rest of the story. The far crossing in the distance in that above shot is Hagadorn Road, on the MSU campus in East Lansing, Ingham County. Amtrak train no. 365, the Bluewater, from PH to Chicago, stop at the East Lansing Amtrak Station on S. Harrison Road at 8:45am every mornings and train no. 364, the Bluewater, stops at that Amtrak station at 8:54pm every evenings on its eastbound run Chicago to Port Huron.

DING! It's the ped crossing east of Bogue. I took the BCRail shot there before the weather went sour.

Where be it? No really, where is it? I don't know.. found it on reddit, saying it's an abandoned boiler house in Michigan.

That would be great to see in person. I’m surprised it hasn’t been posted before  .

Somewhere on the Oak Yard Branch in Detroit.
CSXT 4401 assigned to Conrail Detroit.

For Conrail Detroit , what is the yard job which have CSXT 4401 assigned to, that crosses Stansbury Street on the former DT RR's west end? Based at Rougemere Yard(CSXT)?

At the time of the photo on 1.2.17 the CSX 4401 was on the Conrail LV-4 out of Livernois.

I wouldn't run any six axle locomotives on that track.

I've been here...it's just as impressive in person. If you look at it on Google maps, you'll see the building with the roof that has fallen in...the tracks go off to the northeast....then you'll see some abandoned cars and a couple old steamers still sitting there on the rails.

I don't know how to post a picture but if you take US-41 north from downtown Hancock it'll be on the right side less than a mile. There are some rail cars on the old spur leading up to the boiler house. Looks like there is a trolley line near the entrance of the boiler house that goes south a mile or so.

It is not in Michigan. A scene from North by Northwest (1959) was filmed not far from here.

Correct. We're looking at the rear of an Italian restaurant. The scene in North by Northwest where Cary Grant is disgusted as a red cap was filmed at LaSalle Street Station.
