I like the second one better, looks more clear, plus its level

I'm kind of split. Both have attributes that I like. Scooter already mentioned what I like. The colors in the edited version are also sharper. The yellows, greens and reds seem to stand out more.

But the unedited version shows more landscape, which I like. It gives the train a placement (even if I can't tell the excat location). And to some degree, I like the dreariness of this picture. The grays and softness of the colors shows how rainy it really is. The edited picture the rain is almost unconvincing. I can tell it was edited, even if you didn't say it was. The unedited picture also gives a stronger illusion of the train really disappearing into the mist and rain.

So that is my opinion. :)

Definately the second one. I'll second Scooter's words, and the colors are more vivid. I think what I like about it, is the way it almost looks like a painting...

Definately the second shot...the pole line is "almost" gone, shows enough scenery for me, good colors. Enjoy the rain shots!

You don't like the Code Line? I think it adds to the shot

Oh yeah, I didn't even notice that.
I could probably go back in and clone that out, but it really isn't all that noticeable anyway

The second one with the exception that there is too much headroom and the crop on the left is too tight.

I sort of favor the unedited picture. I like the colors of the second but the first one gives more of a centered picture.

I look compared about unedited or edited the pictures. I voted edited because it has more excellence picture. I can see unedited has been a very tiny light blurs of the locomotive edge side at first rear, second front to rear and tank car.
