What car in the driveway to the right? Did you upload the correct photo?

I did. There is a bush blocking the car I did not mention. The garage, just to the left of it there is a car that is mostly obscured by the bush. Sorry about any discrepancies.

Is on a state highway (like for example M-66. M-72) or on a US highway? Which direction?

It is on a state highway, in a remote area. This image is looking north.

Both of you are looking on the wrong side of the peninsula.

M-66 at the former crossing with the old East Jordan and Southern RR grade, north of W. Old State Road midway between East Jordan and Mancelona, in the East Jordan Public Schools district, Jordan Township;, Antrim County. That railroad, which ceased August 12, 1961, ran between Bellaire and East Jordan. That area have a East Jordan, MI 49727 address.

Very good! It is the crossing of the former EJ&S at M-66. Not an easy one to spot on the ground or in the air. Most of this railroad is totally overgrown in places.

Both guesses are wrong. There are active tracks just on the other side of the abandoned bridge in the middle of the photo.
At one point the tracks crossed the bridge and continued on to connect to the very same mainline.

There is a gravel pit in Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Monroe and St. Clair counties. On the NS, CDX or CN.

Is it in the Saginaw/Bay City area?

Got it! It's the Bond Co. on E. Kochville Road, in Zilwaukee, in the Saginaw School District the City of, Saginaw County. Looking south toward I-75. It's a aggregate supplier. The active tracks on the other side of the abandoned bridge is the HESR. That supplier is on the west shore of the Saginaw River. It's have a Saginaw, MI 48604 address. That abandoned bridge was used by the old GTW Saginaw Sub main line that ran right along the west shore of the Saginaw River, crossed the former NYC Saginaw branch nine blocks north of Salzburg Road, Bay City and along the east side of Williams Street, about five blocks west of the west shore of the Saginaw River on Bay City's west side and onto the D&M yard on the north side of the river. These trackage was abandoned in 1976.
