agreed. I've looked all over those same areas. Either the hints are flawed, or we are interpreting them incorrectly.

Finally located it. The caboose is located at a residence's back yard on the west side of Clark Road, north of Wear Road, in the Huron School District, Sumpter Township, Wayne County. Southwest of the unincorporated town of New Boston and southwest of the DTW Airport. That residence have a mailing address of Belleville.

Any idea of what the caboose is? Heritage or whatnot?

I know it was on the former N&W track in the bottom shot above and is in West Detroit or Delray. Its not Trenton either. Its here in southeast Michigan I know.
