Haven't found a soution to this yet... a tested a few accounts on a couple of PC's, no problems. Searching for an answer with the makers of this program. Appears Nathan is having a similar issue too.
What browser are you using, version of Windows? Can you email me the picture that you are trying to upload so I can see what is going on?

Hmm.... MD Bentley: I received the two emails from you with pictures, but neither one actually had a picture attached. I'm not sure if it's something with how AOL is sending the pictures, but can you make sure to use Internet Explorer that should be on your computer, and not the browser that is used by AOL?

Justin, can you send me a copy of a screenshot with the error that you are getting? I've tried a couple of test accounts from multiple computers and it is working ok on this end. A number of other people are uploading ok too...

Guys, can you try uploading to the gallery again? I've ran a gallery update and replaced some files that I hope fixes this glitch. Please let me know how it goes.

I think I'm stumbling on what might be going on. Are you guys editting your photos and then resizing them to something like 1024 x 768 pixels, or are you leaving it at the size that it came off your digital camera at? The picture uploading seems to be working fine for me when uploading editted pictures, it's just the uneditted ones that seem to be hickuping and not making it through. I'm going to try to adjust the memory limits on the server to process large pictures, but will need to reboot the webserver tonight after the change.

James, or anyone else that can try testing a large picture, please upload a large picture or two to the gallery and reply to this thread with your results. Uneditted photos straight from your digital camera would be the best to test with.
MD Bentley and Justin, give it a whirl.

I just uploaded one that is 3008X2000. The software automatically downsized it to 1024X680.

awesome guys, working exactly as intended. Basically what was happening was my server wasn't set up to process the really large 3000x2000 size photos that newer cameras take, and then resize it down to 1024 pixels wide. I modified the allocated memory that the gallery is allowed to use, and wala, we have more resources towards the gallery to accept these unedited photos. People that had been editing their pictures ahead of time were always able to upload, just not the unedited wide pictures.
Glad it's working again, and thanks for your patience.

Zack,

PM me on how you accomplished that and I will pass it on to our webmaster on our Cessna forum. Our software there is different, but I'm sure one of our techies can work things out.
