Website upgrades

FYI, my hosting company is moving this website from a 32bit operating system to a 64bit one, likely today. It's also replacing the version of PHP the site runs on, as well as the MySQL version. What this means to you? Some potential time the site will be unavailable, and the site might run better since it's running on new hardware and software. If the upgrade goes well on their end and my software works well with the changes, things will keep humming along. If things don't go well, I may then need to update the message board, wikipedia, and photo gallery, which will involve a good amount of work to get them back online. Stay tuned.

A number of upgrades to the backend for the website have been completed. The wikipedia needs a software upgrade as it's not compatible with the new version of PHP on the site, and I'll try to get that working in the next day or so.

Wikipedia has been upgraded to a newer version and seems to be working fine. Let me know if you have any issues logging into the wiki or editing.

I had a couple people test, but would like some more people to try to log into the wiki and do a test edit here: http://railroadfan.com/wiki/index.php/TEST_PAGE
Username and password for the wiki is the same as you use to log into this message board.

Too bad the upgrade didn't require you to have the avatars on the left.
