New tab for links

Unread post by SousaKerry »

Is there a way to set this board to automatically open a new tab when clicking on a link in a post. Other boards I frequent do this so I am not in the habit of right clicking links to open them in a new window.

Thanks

p.s. oh yeah I am using FIrefox 26.0

I know I'm opening up myself to sounding like a dick but is it really that hard to right click > open link in new tab?

Is it difficult to close a tab?

I would prefer links open in a new tab.

No, but that's beside the point.

The linked thread above hints to an option in Firefox that makes all links open in a new tab. Try that.

I don't always right click on a link.

But when I do, I open it in a new tab.

I'd prefer it to open in a new window like it USED to do. I wish Zack would switch it back to that. I rarely care to have a link open in a new tab or else I'd have that selected in Firefox's preferences. I click on a link because I want it to open a new window just like it happens that way on every other website.
