I was browsing through the gallery to try and find some photos along the Bay City Branch and came across this E.L. Novak photo posted by Charlie Whipp. When I go and click on the thumbnail this weird cylinder object appears and all I am left with is the thumbnail. This has happened to me with a few other photos on the gallery as well. Is this normal?

Some of the photos in the "Misc user submitted gallery" were lost sometime back around 2009. Early on in the site's history, users were able to upload to a general folder before the gallery was setup in its current format. The old host company we had had a database corruption, and messed up a lot of the links to various pictures, losing quite a few of the misc pictures as well. Alas, all that remains for some is just the thumbnail.
