I did not get any decent pictures of these trains because my camera was out of adjustment.
We hear NS 24Z will get a recrew at county rd D which is 5 miles west of our location, we decide to head over and get some pics. The recrew looks like this.

Image

NS Amtrak 29 goes Westbound by NS 24Z.
Followed by a NS mixed westbound.

Ahh, the sun finally breaks thrue the clouds so we get
NS 16N passing 24Z like this.

We give chase back to Wauseon.
16N gets a stop signal so 24Z can repass him.

Yes Zack it wasnt until recently that I realised how good I have it where I live. I can travel an hour North and get CP, CSX ,CN in Lansing. I can travel an hour South and get NS in Northern Ohio. Or two hours south and get CSX and NS in Fostoria. Or I can stay around home and get NS in Jackson. At Jackson between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m I can see B16, 38J,
east and west Amtrak and somtimes the local BJ01. Plus I could travel an hour West and get NS, CN action at Battle Creek.

Scott B.
P.S. congrats on your editors pic. on Rail pic archives.

thanks for the comment scott. I'm surprised they did that for that pic..then again, i didn't know tim from rrpictures had an editors choice area :) You certainly do live in a good area for train watching...just under 2 hours to the south is where i can get some good action (south bend), or head an hour over to lansing to see CN/CSX.. I'm actually thinking of moving out west to get away from snow... somewhere in Oregon i think, near the ocean. Have you taken trips outside of Ohio/Michigan before?
