Welcome to the board. Enjoyed your pics. you might want to place them down in the trip report section. How long were you in Rochelle? How many trains did you see in your time there?

Thanks for the info to where to post. Sorry if I sound sarcastic.

To answere you'r question...

First time, Spent 3 hours, saw around 10 trains,8 on the Union Pacific, 2 on the BNSF.

Second time, Spent 3 hours, saw 20 trains, 10 on the Union Pacific, 10 on the BNSF

Third time, Spent 3 hours, 8 trains, 7 on the UP, 1 on the BNSF.
On the third time, I took route 38 home, and saw 5 other Union Pacific trains. One of wich had a Black white and blue Union Pacific SD50. I couldn't take a picture, and my only proof is on VHS.

I was there a year ago in April, and it seemed kinda slow that day. But if it was closer to home I would make it a regular outing.
