P32-8 leads 352 and inspection train 9/2/2020

Yesterday Amtrak sent me two surprises on the Michigan line. Early in the afternoon I heard an EB move through Ypsilanti at a time where normally (due to covid-19) a train wouldn’t be present. At around 4pm another move was coming westbound. It was an inspection train with a viewliner II, corridor clipper, and American View. Already a solid day, a little later I got a text that P32-8 #519 would be leading 352. It has been multiple years since a P32-8 has led a Wolverine service train, so this was more welcome news. What is possibly the last time a P32-8 May lead a regular wolverine service train, 519 comes East with 62 trailing, and a Charger on the west end. Word is the power is needed for a ballast train in Jackson. A solid day on the Michigan line, with a possible last catch of a P32-8 leading a passenger train.
