I went ahead and took advantage of the nice day to do some railfanning in the Durand area. I ended up getting 7 trains, most of which were generic CN trains. I did see the HESR twice though, first 702 arriving in Durand, and then 701 at Bennington Road north of town. I haven't counted the cars, but it seemed like a pretty good sized train going back to Bay City.

89 cars is what I counted. The last 50 or so looked like for Dow.

The first two engines looked like the original CMGN GP38 rebuilds.
