I meant to reply to this months ago.....I've ridden the Capitol Ltd. east from Toledo several times - it's really scenic over Sand Patch and through West Virginia and Maryland even in the winter which is typically when my trips have been. I can imagine it's all the most scenic with leaves on the trees. I spent one day in Harpers Ferry once (arriving by car on this particular trip). I missed 2 CSX trains but did catch the WB Capitol Limited crossing the Shenandoah. I really enjoy your CSX shots in that area. Thanks for sharing these great photos - now I need an excuse to train to the east coast again!
