CN 451 and 502 Today

Unread post by atrainguy60 »

I did some running around today and ended up getting some railfanning done as well. I ended up catching 451 in downtown Gaines and 502 about a mile west or so at Prior Road.

Thanks for posting atrain. Anyone know where the 2-bay covered hoppers are going? I think they are frac sand for W&LE but I'd appreciate confirmation.

Thanks for posting this! Both trains were running quite big this day I see. Nice trailing power on both as well. Thanks again!
You know that little voice in your head? My wife says I lack that.

Your welcome! Yeah I was particularly surprised at the large 502. Not that it's usually short, it just seemed big that day. 451 has been generally large when I've seen it lately. Good to see that there is an abundance of carload and auto rack traffic for CN.
