May 21, 2016 WAUSEON, OH -- Norfolk Southern's Chicago Line is one of the US' premiere freight corridors, handling around 80 freight trains per day, destined for places all over the country.

On this date, we camp out trackside, near the endangered old NYC-era tri-light signals, to view the midday action along this busy corridor.

We'll see 8 trains over the span of four hours, a respectable lot for these four parallel ribbons of high-strength steel.
