In the final edition of 2015 Pure Michigan Trains: Sunset on the CSX?

In the final weeks of a dreary month, CSX is running trains, but the question is: how much for how long?

The last week of the year produced some classic CSX EMD power, but also yielded the last 334 and 335 we captured before CSX cut them entirely less than two months later. As CSX moves to cut as many trains as possible and then some, how much longer might the presence of CSX in West Michigan last? Or is it just another economic bump in the road? So many questions, but at least for now, so few trains.

Coming up next month, take a trip to Battle Creek, for a plethora of trains by Canadian National and Amtrak in "the Corridor"
