Random in the context of my video series sure, but this was a cool side-effect of travelling to Duluth as part of Michigan Tech's Rail & Intermodal Transportation Summer Program. We were able to get out for a time and shoot some trains, and although I didn't have a tripod, I was able to improvise and catch this local moving into the yard, whose office we had toured earlier in the day. Nicely fouled horn, too.
Ep. 453: BNSF Local Train in Superior, WI
July 29, 2015 Superior, WI -- Pulling into the southern reaches of the local BNSF terminal, this local train is lead by a rather fresh "Swoosh" SD40-2, with an interestingly abnormal horn.
Consist:
- BNSF 1850 [SD40-2]
- ??? cars [Mixed Local Traffic]
Location/Time:
- Superior, WI, BNSF Yard/28th St xing, on 7-29-15 at 19:20 CDT

did you visit the rr museum in duluth mn i go up there every year and volunteer for a week we are curently working on copper range #200 a baldwin s12 switcher
