453: BNSF Local in Superior, Wisconsin

Unread post by Saturnalia »

Random in the context of my video series sure, but this was a cool side-effect of travelling to Duluth as part of Michigan Tech's Rail & Intermodal Transportation Summer Program. We were able to get out for a time and shoot some trains, and although I didn't have a tripod, I was able to improvise and catch this local moving into the yard, whose office we had toured earlier in the day. Nicely fouled horn, too.

Location/Time:
- Superior, WI, BNSF Yard/28th St xing, on 7-29-15 at 19:20 CDT

Yeah, taking a ride on the train and spending some time at the museum was part of the trip! We had a great time.
