Did you bust a "nutt" when you saw the 765 or were there a lot of rail "nutts" out there? Were you "nutts' for going?

I don't mean to detract from your photos, and I admit my artistic side is MIA, but I don't now how anyone can prefer appreciate a black & white photo over a color photo.

What color is 765 ? Black, White and Graphite Gray with yellow lettering on the tender.. not much for color.. and when you shoot something like a steam locomotive in B&W it tends to make the photo timeless like maybe it might had been taken 50 years ago.. I like B&W.... works well for NS shots too !

Works well for gloomy and cloudy days where there isn't much sun too.

Nice "no diesel" illustration there Frank! Would've looked good that way also.

I caught the 765 last year in Alma, Mich. Seemed like an orderly crowd over there.
I caught the 1225 south of Alma a couple years ago at a crossing just off US 127. No one there but me and a state cop. He just sat in his car and watched. Never said a word. What's with all the foam in Ohio?
