ScooterB's first trip of 2005 Part one

Leave home at 6:30 a.m, boy is it icey out have had feezing rain during the night. Get on the Highway and the roads are just wet. But man its foggy. Arrive in Wauseon fill up with gas only $1.53 at Sterling gas station.
First train up at
8:15 a.m. is NS IOG this is an extra 20G in the fog.

8:42a.m. AMTRAK 29 in the fog.

The suprise at the end of 29 was these private cars. California Zephyr and pullman.

8:49 a.m. NS 38E

Third unit on NS 38E is ex Conrail GP15-1

Time for breakfast and we miss NS 17M
9:34 NS 17N


The third unit on this train is NREX 8695


We move East to Delta and catch these units
9:51 a.m. NS 20K

This unit is working North Star Steel



Notice the stop and go signal on top of the loco

10:48 NS 11E

10:58 NS 24M
