We have been following a K351, out of GR, and they wanted him to put his train away in the 3rd rail at Greenfield Rd., witch requires him to open a electric lock, and wait 10 min., and after pulling in, close the switch back. Now listening to the radio, it sounded like the conductor was new and had no clue what he was doing. But after 20 minuets or so, we are told by the dispatcher, that they have a problem with getting the electric lock closed, and she cant run us the rest of the way on #2. Plymouth Rd, is a crossover from 1 to 2 eastbound, so we cant crossover there, but being only 3000 feet, I ask if we can drop the conductor off, pull by and shove aback, instead of backing up a mile, to the Oak crossovers, and then pull by. She says yes, but after Q290 passes. So at 5:10, we see the Q29004, with CSXT 7503, and 2 auto pars. We proceeded to cross over, and and depart at 5:50, and arrive at Rouge at 6:20.

Called for Q13104, at 18:15, with UP 5473 & NS 6649, with 23 loads, for 2842 tons, and 4495 feet. I head out and check out the power, and get our paper work.

As we get ready to head out the door, we are told that we cant go out freight main 5 to West Detroit, to wye the power, as the dispatcher says that Q304, and another train are blocking the way, and they cant move until 304 dose its work and leaves. So the trainmaster, says to take the NS unit, and build the train, and wye the power at Delry Tower. So at 20:25, we come out and head to our train. As we do that , we see the Q30404, with CSXT 5331 & HLCX 8163, doing there work. We also see 15E, come in and get ready to do his work, at 20:25.

We make our way over to the south yard, and sit and wait for the yard job to build our train.

Finally we get the ok to tie onto our train, and pull it down to Delray to get a air test, and wye the power. As we get ready to pull, we see 20V, pull in with NS 2784, at 21:30. On the way down to Delray, we see a CN train with CN 2584 & 5772, at 22:28. We get to Delray, to arm the device, and air test, and off to turn, but every time I try to arm the marker, all I get is nothing. The trainmaster comes out, and after talking to the Mechanical desk, determines that the little box that is supposed to "talk" to the EOT is missing on the UP 5473, and the NS unit cant lead, as it is OSS due to needing the toilet emptied. So we are told that we will take the train 30 MPH, all the way. So we turn the locos, and depart Delray at 23:15.

At Brownstown yard, we pass the Y32104, at 001:01, with CSXT 4418 & NS 1459. At S. Carleton, we pass the Q27203, with CSXT 8095 & HLCX 8157, 5 platforms, 40 auto racks, and 24 mixed, at 00:40. At MP 127, at 1:25, we see the Q39204, with CSXT 8121, HLCX 640?, GCFX 3068, & CSXT 7600, with ? cars. At Ironville, we pass the Y32104, with CSXT 2615, at 1:50 shoving out of the docks. We stop at Vickers at 2:08, and at 2:22 we see a NS eastbound internodal. We depart at 2:24, and pull down to East Broadway, to have another unit added, the RLCX 8545. This is the trip monitor, as of 2:20, at Vickers, we were onduity another 2 hours plus, as we helped mu the units, waited for the outbound crew, and helped them arm there EOT.
