SOR 5005 light engine.
I heard the SOR crew on the scanner talking to 587 asking if they should wait at Simpson or in the yard. They were there to pick up some cars off 399 who still a ways off.

They cut off the rear 2 bulkheads then headed East to the Hagersville Sub.

This turned out to be the 1st 398 of the day. I heard there was a derailment in Sarnia yesterday.
In the yard after finishing their set-off I got a cab shot.
After finishing the set-off and lift I grabbed these shots when they were back on the train.

Had to go home and get some things done.
Unfortunatly I heard later the traffic really picked up in the afternoon as the backlog started to catch up.
I found out I missed 7 or 8 freights.
Got a chance to head back up latter when I heard the 2nd 398 arriving to make a set-off. I figure the 1st one was yesterdays train.

Not sure of the car count exactly as I re-positioned to shoot 434.
They had to put cars in 5 different tracks as the yard was getting pretty full.
While 398 was setting-off I moved to get 434

5 cars, not much traffic out of Windsor today.
Took just over an hour but 398 was back on his train pumping air for this shot
Headed home for supper with a green up for another eastbound.
While I was cooking supper on the barbie I heard 411 arrive to make a lift.
Looks like the afternoon to evening was the better time to be up at the station.
