Unread post by Scooterb »

Well I will do my reports from the weekend backwards.
I will start out with my Sunday at Stryker cause I like Sunshine shots.
To start off the sun rises on AMTK 49 just west of Archbold
Image
He is just crawling along so I set out towards Stryker and I beat him to just east of Stryker for this shot
Image
I stay at this crossing because I cant make it to Stryker before 20 W

23N is the next train up so its down to the river

Image
The swoosh makes this thing fast so it blurred a little
I have just enough time to get to Horton rd fo 20Q
Image
Kind of ironic how the chain drapes over the hand shake symbole on the front.
Well time to settle in and catch the show NS 206

Very nice scott! really enjoyed the morning pics of Amtrak... I'm assuming you've stuck with mainly auto settings..when the light is a bit questionable, you might want to switch to manual... especiallly when the train is going across the frame, like the ones of the engines across the bridge, there's just too much movement, and need to up the shutter speed.
Looks like a good day to be out with NS!
