Called for Q15111 at 19:30, with CSXT 641, with 24 loads, 1 emptie (short count), for 2868 tons, and 4425 feet, with 96 containers.

On board the train, at 20:10, and departed at 20:20. At Union St. we see the Q27211, waiting with CSXT 7394 & UP 78887, with 56 cars, at 20:23. We come to a stop at Vickers, at 20:34, and at 20:36, we see the 25Z, with NS 9806 & 9858 with 104 loads, 1 emptie (long count), with 158 containers, with 18 trailers. Depart at 20:44.

As we head north, we pass the southbound, Y????, on Q39911, with CEFX 3067, CSXT 8505, & 1524, with 85 cars. At Ironville, we pass the Y21611, with CSXT 2328 & 6421, with 32 cars, at 21:07. In the docks, we see W07810, waiting to leave, with CSXT 8672 & HLCX 6203, with 32 cars.

Up to Carleton, we pause temporarly, as Q13111, comes off the Lincoln Sec., at 22:20, with CSXT 8183, with 52 loads, 3 empties, and 83 containers. As soon as he gives back the blocks, we are off and running. We get stopped at the holdout, for just 5 minuets, before the NS lets us north. As we pass by the north end of the Triple Crown tracks, we see the inbound 252, who just finished putting his train away, head for the house, with BNSF 4560, 5048, NS 6704 & 6794. At Delray, we pass two CN's, one on the old Wabash, and one comming down the CR, at 23:24. The one comming down the CR, had the CN 2413, & two other SD50/60F's. The other one, had the BNSF 630, and 58 auto racks. On to Livernois yard, and put the train and loco away.

Called for Q23112, at 22:30, with HLCX 6511 & TFM 2602, with 22 loads, for 1959 feet, and 2206 tons. We depart Rouge, at 22:40, and dont stop, until John Hicks, were we meet Q39212. Q39212 pulls into the siding, at 23:46, with HLCX 7187, 6254, FURX 3015, HLCX 6076, RLCX 8562, & CSXT 5939.

We depart, at 23:50, and get stopped shortley after, at Wayne at 00:02, for Amtk 354, with AMTK 37 5 passenger cars, and AMTK 39, at 00:06, and we depart, at 00:07.

As we head south, we pass the Q28912, with BNSF 4390, and 40 cars, at 00:08. As we head south at Waltz, we meet the K38512, with CSXT 8862, 7534, FURX 3052, & CSXT 7811, with 89 cars.

We get stopped at Alexis for 25 minuets, at 1:20, and then head south. As we come past Hallett tower, we see the north bound AA leaving, for Osmer, at 1:46, with AA 2373, 2368, & 8702, with the following, 16 mixed, 19 sand, and 71 grain (all CSX revenue cars). At Boullvard Yard, we pass N91711, at 1:52, with CSXT 747 & 99, with 100 cars. Then at WR Tower, we pass Q39412, with FURX 3032 & CSXT ??11, with aproxmatly 60 cars. We stop at East Broadway, at 2:45, and at 2:54, we get passed up by Q13112, with CSXT 8088 & CN 5326, with 25 loads, 1 empty (long count) with 40 containers. Then at 3:16, we get overtaken, by Y23012, returning from NS Homested yard, with CSXT 2630, and about 25 cars.

We depart, at 4:36, and meet the outbound crew at Perry, at 4:50

Hey Matt, did you see my question listed below in trip #8?

Also, are you sure about 354 having engine 39? Last I knew, this engine was not ITCS equiped--there are about a dozen of them from #'s mid 20's to mid 30's; then again, maybe Amtrak put ITCS on some new units.

Yes leo, I did see your question, and I had a response, and now its gone, ? The stub tracks, were used for storage of empty coil cars, until the local could pick them up. But now that Wayne Industries, has added a second track outside, we rarely use them. Also I an not positive, that the lead unit was 37, as I was trying to take the photo, but thats what I thougt I saw, as it went away.
