2-6-06

Called for Q28906, with CSXT 8721, with 4 loads, and 35 empties, for 2196 tons, and 3760 feet.

We got on board the train, at 21:50, and at Union St. we see the K38505, depart north, with GCFX 3062 & HLCX 7180, with 80 cars, at 22:30. Next up is the H71006, with CSXT 2266 & 6474, with 29 cars headed south. Then at 23:45, we see the Q28706, depart ahead of us, with CSXT 9034 & HLCX 7149, with 83 cars. At 00:01, the Y3??06, pulls in with the dead Q21606, with CSXT 8519& HLCX 9032, with 24 auto racks, and 29 mixed.
Then as we still wait, the Q15106, heads north with CSXT 2569, 2564, & 2614., with 40 loads, and 1 empity, at 00:08. Next is the G96203, with CSXT 8354 & HLCX 9045, with 60 loads, at 00:38. And finally the Y31206, with FURX 3048 & CSXT 8762, head south past us, into the hump receiving to put the power on a south bound train, at 00:46.

We depart, at 00:50,and at Union St, we pass the Y31108, with CSXT 2802, and 8 auto racks, waiting to come in after we leave, at 00:52. At Dry Creek, we see Q30506, with HLCX 7228 & 815(?), with 12 cars. At 1:26, we pass the Q24506, with CSXT 570 & 5009, with 76 auto racks, at Seaman St. At Lower River Bridge, we stop for 25 minuets, at 1:44, and as we wait the G86404, comes south, at 2:00 with FURX 3044 & HLCX 9042, and 62 loads. At Ottawa River, we pass the Q23106, with CSXT 7742 & 7795, with 1 auto rack, 1 empty platform, and 63 auto racks, at 2:28.

Next at South Carleton, we pass the Q32110, at 3:28, with GCFX 3085 & HLCX 6000, with 54 cars. We cross over to #2 at Carleton, and arive at New Boston, at 04:00. We set off, all our cars. We depart, at 05:10. At Wayne, we pass the K59907, putting together there train, at 05:30, with CSXT 8068. Next we see Q33407, at Plymouth, at 5:45, with CN 5659 & 5666, with 48 cars. We are told to put our cars away in the north yard, and turn the power and take it back to Wayne.

Called for Q39909, at 23:45, with CSXT 9034, and 60 loads, 13 empties, for 7454 tons, and 5171 feet. We get on board, at P Company, at 2:20, and depart, at 2:30. At Middlebelt, we pass the D71508, with CSXT 6124, and 3 boxes, a cab, and 3 boxes, at 2:50. We arrive at Plymouth at 3:15, and set off 17 loads, 7 empties, for 1516 tons, and 1999 feet, and pick up 11 loads, 17 empties, for 1664 tons, and 1851 feet. We depart, at 6:25, with a total of 54 loads, 23 empties, for 7602 tons, and 5029 feet.

At East Yard, as we leave, we pass the Q29009, in the yard, at 6:30, with HLCX 6249 & CSXT 8509. At Wayne, we pass the Q27208, with CSXT 8538 & HLCX 7173, with 1 platform, with 1 container, 1 auto rack, and 1 auto part. At Ottawa River, we pass the Q39208, with CSXT 7331 & CEFX 3168, with 88 cars, at 8:50. Then at Consaul St., we pass the northbound Q33508, with HLCX 6086 & ICE 363, with 64 cars. We shot the rest of the way in and died putting the train away.

Hey Matt, any idea what those 3 stub tracks are for in the N.E. quadrant of the diamond at Wayne Jct.? Seems like when I go by there, there are never any cars on them.
