Ok THE CAMERA ROCKS I like it alot. Makes Fostoria a whole different place to railfan now.
After slipping and sliding to Fostoria we arrive at sunup for our first train of the day.

We head down Columbus street to get Q375
taken throough the window of the truck
We get Q276 at Columbus strret again.
NS 218 the next train at 9:15am
Q394 at 9:28 has the lashup of the day
Q160 has what Patrick was looking for last weekend as the 2nd unit
Nate admires it as it goes by.
Q231 @ 10:00 am comes off the NW transfer

Q210 gets to come into town after waiting for 2 hours.

we head west of town to see if we can get a side by side but we are a block to far east.

Cant complain about the camera or the day as we got some snow shots cloud shots and some sun shots.

Can't say enough how much i like this series... got me jealous of being down there. I see you like the zoom? Changes things around a lot when taking pictures..have to think more about what's down the track more, and the sun angle since you care more about if the front is lit rather than the sides.. Great work, glad you guys had fun.

Excellent shots! Fostoria never fails to entertain the railfan. Lots of action if you know where the next train is running. A scanner really aids in that respect. I like the angles you've caught the engines at, using the sun for illumination. More snow there than what we got east here in Cleveland.

By the way where did all the snow come from.
I thought we were the cold white north.
If you checked my trip report from Saturday and the one I'm going to post from today there hasn't been any of that white stuff here.

Notice how the snow plow on that last loco 8837 is cut different than most locos. its for clearance in the northeat corridor
