Can't say enough how much i like this series... got me jealous of being down there. I see you like the zoom? Changes things around a lot when taking pictures..have to think more about what's down the track more, and the sun angle since you care more about if the front is lit rather than the sides.. Great work, glad you guys had fun.

Excellent shots! Fostoria never fails to entertain the railfan. Lots of action if you know where the next train is running. A scanner really aids in that respect. I like the angles you've caught the engines at, using the sun for illumination. More snow there than what we got east here in Cleveland.

Due to a posting error I transfered these from a peviouse post and am deleating the other one

Aleks

Your definitly getting the hang of it. Nice telephoto shots.
By the way where did all the snow come from.
I thought we were the cold white north.
If you checked my trip report from Saturday and the one I'm going to post from today there hasn't been any of that white stuff here.

patrick

Notice how the snow plow on that last loco 8837 is cut different than most locos. its for clearance in the northeat corridor

Scooterb

How do you notice that stuff Patrick? the snow plow.
Thanks Aleks very impressed withe the zoom on this camera

Those are primered CSX units. I dont know if they have started painting any of them yet or not. I have heard they have one like that with CSX in blue on the nose.
