The power cut off so they could run down to the communications hut to get a copy of the journal off the fax machine as they were lifting tank cars.
Unfortunatly neither fax machine was working. They requested to run light power to Brantford to get the paperwork from the fax machine there.
While waiting for the Dispatcher to confer with the Chief I took some more shots.

Already at Brantford was CN 435 who was having a hard time pumping his train after making a lift of 37 cars.

118 cars in lifted 37 for a total of 155 cars out.
Don't know when he arrived. After about 45 minutes he finally got up to 70 lbs and he was able to do a brake test and depart Brantford.
The following shots are between the west end of the yard and Hardy near the Brant Ave bridge.

Boy was he working to lift this train up the grade out of Brantford. Would love to have had the video camera with me. During conversations with the Dispatcher after the head end was passing Hardy the Dispatcher was asking how he was making out and they said OK considering they had over 9,000 tons and over 10,000 feet.
