This video series starts a big step in my life, I'm writing a book about the last 8 years of my life from a railfans perspective, where every chapter contains dozens of photos and a story behind each of them from my time as a railfan. I got super serious about railfanning in 2017, and when I moved to Charlotte, NC that year I started going out every weekend with my dad to go and shoot trains in the Queen City. This video is Chapter One of this book, called Chasing Iron Horses. The video series is for the channel, but will run under the same name as the book, and I plan to have the book published by Q4 of this year.
Chapter 1 is trains around the Queen City (Charlotte) in 2017, some of these videos are a bit iffy on the quality. But it goes to show how much my gear has changed since I first entered the hobby. Chapter 2 will be Queen City 2018, which will be coming soon.
