One Last Time at the Vriesland Sginals

I've seen countless trains from this very same angle run past these old Searchlights, but this one looks to be the last.

Episode 121- CSX 7382 & 7607 Lead Q327 by Vriesland

Just after sunset, C40s lead several thosand feet of steel west at Vriesland. These signals will be replaced in November 2012 by new "Darth Vader" type signals about a mile to the west. I've seen countless trains here over the years, many from this very same spot, but this one is likely the last...

Locomotive Consist:
- CSXT 7382 [C40-8W]
- CSXT 7607 [C40-8]

Think you could combine these 1 video threads that you make often of these trip reports into one longer thread? Would probably get more people to see your videos if they were all in a single thread, instead of random onesies over and over.

I guess I could.

It's actually an abnormality that I've had so many 1-video trip reports. The bulk of my stuff is usually a trip to Alpena or Chesterton, and those go as 1 thread of course. But this summer was different (LONG story as to why), and not something I'd generally expect to happen again.

I do think that one thread gets less views however.......
