I'll take my chances on the Southfield Freeway. It wouldn't bother me being in the middle of nowhere but changing a tire in that cold weather will be brutal.

I'm not sure you could change a tire on the Southfield freeway without blocking a lane.....Too dangerous so I will make my kids change it in the snow.

The really old ones were built with 1-2" thick planks rather than framing and plywood. Very difficult to remodel.
