Mr. Tops' Marquette Meandering

Unread post by Mr. Tops »

After a heads-up from Paul D. on the Shortlines board, I decided to get out of my pj's for a little while and go east to see if I could find Marquette heading north out of GR. Went from Muskegon to Casnovia on M46 then followed the tracks south from there, crossing them every so often. As I crossed them at North Park Rd in Comstock Park, was surprised (to say the least) to find them just short of the crossing, tied up. Got out for a few pictures and after a few minutes a white pick-up shows up with a re-crew.

After they boarded and settled in, they headed north around 2300 with NREX GP50's 2933, 2903 & 2939, hauling ~19 lime cars.
