Busy Saturday up @SBS Yard Saginaw

Unread post by GJ »

Had tried to get over to essexville early this morning,
but with My wife's grandmother being laid up after
coming back from the hospital recently...well it was
late mid day by the time headed over to Essexville
to take a look-see and talked with a LSRC fella who
was their checking the rail line that supports the coal
and runs into essroc...he was inspecting an checking
out the track at the wye..,mentioned that we had
missed the run with coal empties.

So went up to Saginaw via River Road from Broadway
in Bay City and both Norman Street and the pedestrian
location off of I-675/Wadsworth at the South End of
the yard were very very busy...lots of action.Got some
good pics of the 2003 & 281 working near Norman Street
....and believe the 2052?/and the 1280?(Grayling) were at
the south end.

The 3504,and a couple of CSX loco's were up by the Tower
on the backside...from My observations it was a busy Saturday
at SBS Yard...when I went past again they were still moving
cars an setting things up and that was around 5:30pm or so.

I hope this is alright...maybe some other fella's can elaborate abit
more an such...but since I was out their...I thought it was worth the
try to post. Thanks....GJ
