Had a Half day at School today, so I decided to go see some action at Amtrak here in East Lansing. I saw 3 trains: The first was a CP/SOO train on CSX, with SOO power: lead unit was wearing the Older Paint Colors (Red and White) and the second unit was wearing the newer Candy apple red paint which I like better.
The second train was an Auto train headed for Flint (I think). The power was a BNSF SD40-2 and an older BN unit. Less than 10 minutes after the BNSF train went by, An east bound Freight came by. The Power: A CN F45, A CN SD70, and A GT GP9R
I don't see that very often. I got them all on video too Good day for Railfanning.
